I bought 1 set of filters recently for two system. After boiling the water, I saw white residue on the cap of the kettle. This issue did not happen with my 2 previous sets. I wonder why? defect?

  • Hi Charles, Any time you heat water with minerals, you can have white residue. It's minerals that you are seeing. When you heat water, that separation of minerals is quite common. You probably didn't notice it before. It might have been building up all along. But, you might have also flushed more with the other sets. Flushing can reduce the buildup.
