Hi Floyd, Great question and we wish there was a way to recycle the filters, but there isn't. If you see companies out there that say they recycle, most of the time they collect the filters and throw them away. There is no way to separate all the contaminants that get collected in the filters to be able to recycle them. Some contaminants are metals, others waste. Two of the filters we use are biodegradable, which helps, but there is not perfect way to do it yet.
